Shos-Te-Tree-Tree
For the holidays, the Stacies did an activity where everyone wrote something nice on a luggage tag about everyone else in Stac and hung it up on a wire Christmas tree. When we walked around the tree, admiring its beauty and reading all of the kind words that were thought out and written by each person, I felt it gave the room an amazing feeling, where all our problems with each other were eliminated and love and kindness were put in its place. This activity was so heart-warming for me and I'm sure it was for the others too.

NYC, The place to be!
New York City is always full of life, but one of the most lively times to see it is during the days leading up to Christmas, at night, in Times Square. This past Friday, all of STAC took a trip to the city and broke up into smaller groups. One of the places my group went to was to Times Square and it was absolutly incredible! Huge, colorful screens, on entire sides of skysraper and gigantic, lit up christmas decorations galore surrounded all of us thousands of energized people dancing down the streets! There was so much energy and excitment going on that it looked like the sunniest day with brighter than life rainbows in every direction imaginable!

What a Cowinkydink!
Some things just happen that you don't plan. For the recent STAC Art project, we had to make holiday cards, so I decided to make mine with a theme for Hanukkah, but of course, when It as finished, I realized their was a big cross in the middle of my circular, symmetrical design! I guess my Holiday card art project just happened to be both for Hanukkah and Christmas!

Compilation of STACies
The whole project with the handmade books seems so nice. By filling them up with art from all of us, there should be a beautiful product of a collection of the creativity of all of the STACies. I can't wait to see how they end up and all the work that was put into them. Something very interesting that can be abserved from these projects are all the different styles, ideas, and thoughts that different people have.
